LEBANON, Maine - Sheridan James Covill, Sr. "Shad", 71, of Lower Barley Street died at his home on Nov. 19 after a period of failing health surrounded by family and friends.

He was born Dec. 4, 1948 in Stewartstown, N.H. the son of the late Paul Reynolds and Madeline (Covill) Dion. 0

Shad was a truck driver and had worked at Star Lumber for many years. Later, he worked in maintenance for the Langdon Home. His hobbies included rodeos, ice racing, old cars and riding his trike.

He has resided in Lebanon for the past 12 years previously living in Berwick.

He is predeceased by his wife Beverly (Johnson) Covill; he is survived by his son, Sheridan "Punk" Covill, Jr. of Saco, 3 grandchildren, Casey Collard, Kristyn McKay and predeceased grandson, Kevin Covill; 3 great grandchildren, Gavin Covill, Lily and Parker McKay; sister, Linda Staples and boyfriend Basil Emmons; predeceased brother Dennis Dion and sister Debbie Dion, uncle Larry and wife Sheila Covill, several nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers whom he considered family, Fran and James (Tigger) Jacques; as well as countless friends and family whose lives were touched by his presence.
