ROCHESTER - Shirley D. Gray, 75, of Rochester died Feb. 19, 2021 after a brief illness.
Shirley was born Feb. 13, 1946, in Alton, to Phil Trask and Barbara Pike. She lived in Alton through her childhood and graduated from Alton High School. After school she moved to Rochester where she was employed in the local shoe factories. Shirley was an Avon Sales Representative for many years, an occupation that she greatly enjoyed. Her most recent occupation was in the home as homemaker.
Shirley had many interests in her life, among which included, The Rochester Fair, flea markets, her pets, and anyone who knew her knows she loved collecting her knick-knacks.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Wilbur M. Gray, Sr., her only child June Sidney, and her brother George Trask. She is survived by; her grandson Elwin Sidney, IV, her granddaughter Amanda and husband Jonathan Meunier and their two children Abigail and Julia, her siblings: Roberta Myshrall, Roland Trask, and Kim Trask, many nieces and nephews, her stepchildren Ronald, Carol, Wilbur, John, Rebecca, Gloria, Cheryl, Steven, Richard, and Tina, and a great many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
