ROCHESTER, N.H. - Shirley M. (Anderson) Sullivan, 88, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt died surrounded by her loving family on March 2, 2015.

She was born June 6, 1926 in Mexico, Maine, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Perkins) Anderson. Shirley previously lived in East Springfield for many years and Three Rivers, before moving to Rochester, N.H. 16 years ago. She retired from Springfield Municipal Hospital as an occupational therapist after working for 20 years.

Shirley had many talents, she loved to paint, knit, quilt, sew and bake. She also loved to read and enjoyed Wednesday night Texas Hold'em poker games with her sisters and friends. Shirley's greatest passion was time spent with her grandchildren and vacations with family at York Beach in Maine. Although Shirley is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who love her forever.

She is survived by three children, Charles Sullivan and his wife Marie of Agawam. Shireen Goransson and husband Charles of Kernersville, North Carolina and Shaun Sullivan and wife Maria of Palmer. She also leaves three sisters, Charlene Steadman, Annie Nisbet and Amber Hall and husband Thad all of N.H, four grandchildren, Benjamin, Charles, Patrick and Melissa Sullivan. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and her good friend Barbara Kelly of Springfield, Massachusetts. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Bernard M. Sullivan.
