Snowshoe tracking primer next Saturday in Milton Mills

MILTON MILLS - Moose Mountain Regional Greenways will host a Valentine Snowshoe Tracking event next Saturday at Branch Hill Farm in Milton Mills.

The gathering will be led by UNH Coverts Project volunteers:
Tom Gardner and Emily Lord and will feature how to:

- look for signs of wildlife

- listen for bird songs

- try out snowshoes

- kids' loaners snowshoes available, thanks to Tutonboro Free Library!

- identify animal tracks in the snow

- go sledding

- bring your own sled or borrow a cardboard saucer

The event, which runs from 10-11:30 a.m., is free but preregistration is required.
