Somersworth man accused in sex assault try taken into custody in woods near library

DOVER - A Somersworth man wanted on attempted sex assault and burglary charges was arrested on Tuesday after a tip from the public alerted police that he was hiding in woods near the Dover Public Library.
Police responded to the area in around 1 p.m., set up a perimeter and quickly located Donald Levier, 35, hiding in the woods of a residence on Nelson Street where he was arrested without incident.
Levier is accused of entering a New York Street home around 1:10 a.m. on Monday, getting into a woman's bed and attempting to sexually assault her.
Police say he left the apartment after she told him to do so.
Levier is currently being held at the Strafford County House of Corrections pending his arraignment today.
