Squabble between roommates leads to arrest and drug, gun seizures

SOMERSWORTH - An argument between roommates led to police arresting a Somersworth man on drug trafficking charges.

The incident unfolded around 11:40 p.m. on Monday when police responded to 64 Union St. for an incident involving roommates and firearms.

After an investigation, in excess of two pounds of Marijuana was seized, along with a large quantity of hashish and THC edibles. THC is the active ingredient in marijuana that produces its high.

Officers also seized three handguns, a shotgun and rifle.

Arrested was Archie J. Stuart, 21, of 64A Union St. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with an arraignment later this month in Strafford County Superior Court.

Police are still looking into the ownership of the firearms.
