ROCHESTER - Stanley R. Leonard, 92, died on Tuesday Sept. 14, 2021 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health.

He was born April 28, 1929 in Medford, Mass., the son of Arthur and Rosella (Ballou) Leonard. He worked as a carpenter for the carpenters union and master electrician for Frenette. Stanley proudly served as a corporal in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Rochester for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed watching the Patriots and Red Sox on tv.

The widower of Arlene (Treadwell) Leonard who passed in 2003, he is survived by sons, Steven (Donna), Andrew (Kathy), Wayne (Deborah) and James Leonard; daughter, Gail Leonard; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Dottie Standing and Connie Blacke; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a son Charles, infant great granddaughter Selma Essex, sister, Phyllis and brothers, Robert and Arthur.
