CONCORD - The Attorney General's Office announced today that the man whose body was found at a Wolfeboro cemetery died of a gunshot wound to the head, but has not come to a conclusion whether the wound was self-inflicted or not.

Local police found the body of William Murray, 52, of Meredith around 7:30 a.m. on July 27 after they received a call reporting an adult male lying on the ground in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Wolfeboro police officers responded to the cemetery and found Murray.

New Hampshire's Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval concluded that the death was caused by a gunshot wound to the head.

How it occurred is still under investigation, the AG's office reported. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Sergeant Kelly Healey of the New Hampshire State Police at 603-MCU-TIPS (603-628-8477).
