SALEM - State Troopers from the Special Enforcement Unit and members of the New Hampshire State Police Mobile Enforcement Unit concentrated on reducing speed and other hazardous driving behavior on Interstate 93 in the Town of Salem on Monday.
State Police used aircraft to monitor traffic and identify motor vehicle violations. Troopers identified 71 violations in three hours to include; 1 operator traveling at 100 mph, 24 operators traveling at over 90 mph and 2 operators were cited for operating after suspension.

The New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors. Its members patrol across the state often utilizing State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire's roadways safe for all residents and visitors.
