State senators Gray, Bradley cheer Senate passage of health omnibus bill

CONCORD - Both Sens. Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, and James Gray,R- (R-Rochester released statements on Tuesday following the passage by the Senate of HB 1639, a healthcare omnibus bill.

"I commend the Senate for being able to pass such a comprehensive piece of legislation in bipartisan fashion," said Sen. Bradley. "Granite Staters will be better off because of the balanced approach taken while putting this legislation together. I am also pleased my bill to repeal the sunset provision for insurance coverage for oral chemotherapy was able to be a part of this package."

"New Hampshire will be better prepared to continue our fight against COVID-19 due to the impacts of this legislation," said Sen. Gray. "It also will help as we continue to combat an ongoing opioid crisis as we seek to expand treatment and recovery options. I am proud to have supported this bill in committee and look forward to Governor Sununu signing it into law."
