State's current COVID caseload down 80% since mid-May

CONCORD - DHHS announced 27 new positive test results for COVID-19 on Wednesday, including two under the age of 18.

There were no new cases identified in Strafford County.

Locally, the numbers today remain the same as Tuesday, with Dover and Rochester case numbers at six, Somersworth, Barrington and Strafford all at 1-4. Farmington is also at 1-4 after about a week of having no confirmed cases. Milton continues to have no current confirmed cases.

More good news includes that current state cases are down to 378, down significantly from mid-May when there were more than 2,000.

There were also no new deaths or hospitalized cases, which currently stand at 20.

The number of person being monitored slipped below 3,000 recently, almost 1,000 down from the pandemic's recent peak.
