CONCORD - Dover's current COVID caseload ballooned to 145 on Friday, continuing to be the Strafford County hotspot.

Behind them were Rochester at 95, Somesworth with 49, Barrington with 20, Farmington with 19, Strafford with 18 and Milton with 13.

Meanwhile, DHHS announced 1,190 new positive test results for COVID-19, for a daily PCR test positivity rate of 5.1 percent. Friday's results include 899 people who tested positive by PCR test and 291 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 6,824 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Among the newly identified cases there are 43 minors 60 from Strafford County.

DHHS has also announced six additional deaths related to COVID-19. Including a two Strafford County women over 60.

There are currently 258 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19.
