Stephen O'Grady ... Boston Post Cane recipient; at 104

STRAFFORD - Stephen T. O'Grady, 104, of Northwood Road, died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at home after a brief illness. He was born November 13, 1915 in New Bedford, Mass., the son of the late Stephen and Margaret (Robinson) O'Grady.
Stephen has resided in Strafford since 1980 previously living in New Bedford. While there he worked in maintenance for the New Bedford School Department for 31 years. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes /St. Joseph Catholic Church. Stephen would take care of all of the animals on the Kerivan Farm and was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Price is Right.
He received the Boston Post Cane in July 2017.
Members of his family include four nephews, William S. Kerivan, James and wife Lucinda Kerivan, Michael J. and wife Melissa Kerivan, all of Strafford, N.H., Richard G. Kerivan of North Reading, Mass., and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Rita Kerivan in 2017, brother, Francis O'Grady in 2002 and niece, Sheila Hamilton in 2004.
