Strafford woman charged in prescription drug trafficking

DOVER - A Strafford woman was charged with drug trafficking in prescription medications following her arrest by the Strafford County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.

Christina Jacobs, 38, is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell and possession of a controlled drug.

At the time of her arrest, Jacobs was in possession of a large quantity of prescription medication, including Tapentadol and suspected Xanax.

Ms. Jacobs will be arraigned in the Strafford County Superior Court at a future date.

The following agencies were involved in the investigation: the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office; the Strafford County Sheriff's Office; the Strafford Police Department; the United States Homeland Security Investigations; the United States Postal Service; the United States Food and Drug Administration; and the New Hampshire State Police.
