DOVER - A Strafford woman accused of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine is facing what amounts to a life sentence in state prison after her indictment earlier this month in Strafford Superior Court.

Lakyn N Webber, 35, of 410 Roller Coaster Road, Strafford, stands charged with two Special Felonies after she was found with an ounce or more of meth and a half ounce or more of cocaine in Dover on Nov. 8.

According to court documents, the enhanced penalty is a result of her being previously convicted on charges related to controlled drugs.

Each charge carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.

The March grand jury indictments were handed down on March 14 and released on March 22.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been presented to a grand jury to move forward to trial.
