Rolling Smiles, the Rochester-based Motorcycle riding Superheros, raised $2,810 at the DAV benefit at Harley Jacks and another $645 through a Facebook fund-raising post.
When I asked an enthusiastic Alysia Lemelin, aka Super Girl, what she enjoyed about the event this is what I got!
" I love that we were able to bring the community together to raise money for such a fantastic cause. The fact that it was so fun is an added bonus. It was so great to see some of the same faces as last year, especially the kiddos!" 
Lemelin also went on to thank the Rochester American Legion Post 7 and Harley Jacks Bugers and Brews, for hosting the event and Badtude, Neon Gypsy, and 25 Cent Habit, for providing awesome music. She also gave nods to WOKQ and all of the fantastic local businesses and citizens that were so willing and happy to donate the raffle prizes.
