Suspect in fatal Franklin shooting of mom, daughter found dead in likely suicide

FRANKLIN - The man sought in the deaths of a Franklin mom and their toddler daughter on Saturday was found dead later in the day and is presumed to have committed suicide.
Jamie Bell, 42, was found dead along the banks of the Merrimack River with a cut to his neck.
The bodies of the mother, 35-year-old Nicole Hughes; and her one and a half year old daughter, Ariella Bell, were found at a residence on Elkins Street in Franklin.
Bell also shot Hughes' five-year-old daughter in the arm. She is expected to survive.
Police have stated Bell and the mother were intimate, but disclosed no more details about their relationship.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
