ROCHESTER - Tanya Louise (Downs) Demers, 50, of Rochester, died on April 4, 2024, following a four-year battle with cancer. She was born on Nov. 25, 1973, to parents Millie Downs, Mike Downs. She grew up in the town of Farmington with her brothers Mike Anthony and Mark Dunbar. She genuinely enjoyed her years working as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid.

She enjoyed spending her spare time at the ocean, planning trips to New York, Vegas, Disney, cruises with friends and family, going to the movies, races at the Louden speedway, Red Sox games in Boston, Storyland with her grandchildren, theatrical performances, and concerts.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Joseph Demers, parents Millie Downs, Mike Downs and wife Rita, brothers Mike Anthony, Mark Dunbar, children Amber Jeziorkowski and husband John, Samantha Demers and fiancé Dereck, and grandchildren Ryan and Dylan Jeziorkowski.
