Teen summer reading program begins with kickoff party

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Public Library Teen Room is announcing a kickoff party for this year's Teen Summer Reading Program.

The celebration will take place in the Community Room on June 24 at 6 p.m. Attendees can look forward to ice cream, prizes, and a chance to vote on the movies for the upcoming Movie Mondays throughout the summer.

The Summer Reading Program will run from June 17 to Aug. 2. Teens can participate in various drop-in activities in the Teen Room and track their reading progress. Prizes include ice cream from Golicks, free books, gift certificates to Barnz's, water bottles, Bluetooth headphones, and more.
