CONCORD - A Tilton man suspected of being involved in the drug death of a toddler in November was arrested on Saturday, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Dana Dolan, 24, was tracked down by a joint task force including State and Londonderry Police and the Marshal's Service, who had offered a $2,500 reward for tips leading to his arrest.

Information led the lawmen to an apartment on Powder Hill Drive in Lancaster. As officers approached the residence Dolan tried to escape out the back door, but was quickly taken into custody.

Dolan was transferred to the custody of the Londonderry Police Department where he will be processed on the following charges; negligent homicide; manslaughter-reckless; and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

Dolan will be held at the Rockingham County Jail pending his initial court appearance today.

U.S. Marshal Nick Willard said this was one of the tougher cases he's faced as a marshal.

"This is one of those investigations that truly pulls on the heart-strings of everyone, as crimes against children do." he said. "The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and countless other agencies wrked tirelessly to ensure that all three of these fugitives were arrested so they can be brought to justice."

This extensive investigation and arrest was made by the investigative efforts of several member agencies of the U.S. Marshals - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force including, the Belknap, Rockingham and Strafford County Sheriff's Offices, and the Greenfield, Danbury, Laconia, Lancaster, Littleton, Londonderry, Northfield, & TIlton Police Departments, along with the DEA and deputy US Marshals.

The first arrests in the case occurred on Tuesday, when the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located, Shawna Cote, 29, and Mark Geremia, 32, at a residence in Tilton.
