Thomas Desautel ... worked at UNH; longtime umpire

ROCHESTER - Thomas J. Desautel, 64, of Rochester, died Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was born September 28, 1953 in Dover the son of Robert and Joyce (Otis) Desautel, and graduated from Dover High School Class of 1971.
Thomas was a proud member of the NH Baseball Umpires Association and Babe Ruth for 48 years as well as refereeing basketball and soccer. He was employed at UNH and loved working and chatting with the students there. He will be missed by many.
Members of his family include his wife, Kerry (Massey) Desautel; two daughters, Cecily Cassidy and Bailey Desautel; his mother, Joyce Otis; granddaughter, Annie William; and four brothers, Robert Desautel, Jr. William Desautel, James Desautel and Todd Johnson.
