FARMINGTON - Thomas W. Horne, 65, AKA "Farmer Tom," died peacefully at his home with his family following a 3 year battle with cancer on April 24, 2022.

Born in Rochester on Oct. 8, 1956, he was the son of the late Shirley and Dwight L. Horne.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisamarie (Hynes) Horne; his daughter, Erica R. Horne; brother, Dwight Horne Jr. of Rochester and many in laws and cousins; as well as his cat Puma.

Tom was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1975. He served in the Navy on the USS Nimitz as an aviation machinist mate. Following his time in the service, he worked for many years at Pratt & Whitney in North Berwick and a dozen years for Alignment Services of North America. Tom was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, feeding the birds, metal detecting and gardening.

Tom asked that you tip a cold one in his honor and in lieu of flowers, plant something.
