ROCHESTER - Three Academy Street residents were arrested on felony riot charges Saturday in connection with a November fight police say erupted over a parking spot.

Police got involved after they were called to the area of 21 Academy St. around 9 p.m. on Nov. 23 for the report of a fight.

"It was reported up to 12 people were outside arguing and fighting," Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said on Tuesday. "The fight was reported to have started over a parking issue where someone from one apartment parked in a way that blocked someone else from another apartment."

The melee began with two individuals fighting, but quickly escalated as "more people started to get involved in the argument and fight itself," Pinkham added.

Arrested on felony riot charges Saturday were Mark Hall, 19; Kimberlee Lynn Raymond, 20; and Desiree C. Elias, 21.

Several days after the fight police arrested Erika Rose Hunter, 22, for allegedly hosting an underage drinking/drug party.

All four are residents of an apartment house at 21 Academy St.

Holding an underage drinking/drug party is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $300 fine for a first offense.

Felony riot charges can draw up to a seven-year prison term.
