Three homeless persons sought in Hampton Inn theft case

DOVER - Dover Police are on the lookout for three homeless persons suspected in multiple thefts at a local hotel on Monday.

Police say the thefts all concerned the removal of items from motor vehicle parked at the Hampton Inn on Hotel Drive that were reported around 8 a.m.

After reviewing surveillance video the three were identified as suspects.

Warrants were issued on Thursday for:

Casey Stotler, 32, for two counts of felony Theft and one count of Receiving

Stolen Property, a class A misdemeanor.

Jasmine Seaver, 19, for one count of felony Theft, and one count of Receiving Stolen Property, a class A misdemeanor.

Robert Jones, 53, for one count of felony Theft, and one count of Receiving

Stolen Property, a class A misdemeanor.

The thefts that resulted in these warrants are believed to be related to other thefts that occurred in that area of the city during that same timeframe. Those additional thefts remain under investigation.
