Three injured in two-car crash on Rochester Hill Road

ROCHESTER - Three motorists including an elderly Rochester resident were injured Wednesday afternoon when a pair of cars collided on Rochester Hill Road near Healthcare Drive.

The crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. when police say a Subaru Impreza driven by Hannah Sexton, 18 of Rochester, was traveling south on Rochester Hill Road and collided with a Kia Sedona driven by Arel Downs, 85, of Rochester, who was pulling out of Healthcare Drive.

Both drivers, as well as an adult passenger from the Subaru, were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital by EMS for what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
