Three locals face life in New Year's Eve fentanyl OD death of Rochester woman

DOVER - Three locals, including two from Rochester are facing life sentences in the 2019 fentanyl overdose death of a 28-year-old Rochester woman.

Andrew J. Currier, 49, of 71 Pleasant View Circle, Dover, Donald J. Harriman, 49, of 105 Whitehouse Road, Apt. #29, Rochester and Tracy Lee Roy, 49, 47 Joshua St., Rochester, were all indicted on a single count of Acts Prohibited-Death Resulting, a Special Felony that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

According to the Strafford County grand jury indictments handed down on Jan. 11, the three "acted in concert" in dispensing a quantity of fentanyl on New Year's Eve 2019 to Amanda Morse of Rochester, "who subsequently ingested the drug resulting in her death."

Amanda Elizabeth Morse died at her Rochester home. According to her obituary, she left behind four children.

Strafford County Assistant Attorney Patrick Conroy who is prosecuting the case said on Wednesday he would have no comment on the case for now.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Jan. 11 and released on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
