ROCHESTER - Road work on Whitehouse Road is scheduled to begin on Monday and continue for approximately two weeks. It is one of three significant projects road crews will be tackling this month and into the fall.
Motorists should expect significant traffic delays.
The road work will be followed by paving work on Whitehouse Road, which will be scheduled to begin after Labor Day.
Meanwhile, two other road projects also begin next week.
A two-month construction project at the Columbus Ave. Municipal Parking Lot (near Knight Street) also begins next week. Public use of this lot may be impacted during construction.
Finally, road work at the intersection of Milton Road and Flat Rock Bridge Road will last about two months. Delays are likely there, too.
