Three rescued including two children in Webster house fire

WEBSTER - One woman was plucked from a second-floor window in a Webster fire that left three injured, including a 4-year-old boy.

The fire broke out at 252 Deer Meadow Road around 3:20 p.m. with the first responder to arrive finding heavy smoke in the building and a female needing rescue from a window on the second floor.

Fire and police units, along with mutual aid fire companies, arrived on scene and quickly rescued two other victims.
A 37-year-old female, a nine-year-female, and a four-year-old male were transported to Concord Hospital by ambulance and later transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital for additional care.
The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is ongoing by members of the State Fire Marshal's Office Bureau of Investigations and the Webster Police and Fire Departments.
