ROCHESTER - Timothy B. Dolan, 74, of Rochester and formally of Barrington, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Tim was born June 17, 1947 in Bangor, Maine, the son of the late James and Ruth (Gallant) Dolan. He attended local schools in Hamilton, Mass., where his family eventually settled. Tim was an Air Force veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. He worked for Sikorsky Aircraft in Connecticut before being employed for over 25 years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as an electronics mechanic in Shop 67. His most recent job was with Seacoast Newspaper, Inc.

Tim was an avid reader. He enjoyed playing golf and coaching his daughter's softball team, priding himself in being her personal motivator. He also supported his son's interests in both basketball and soccer. His children meant the world to him. Although he faced life's challenges in his own way, Tim vowed to "work at making it a good day." During his retirement years, Tim's interests involved woodworking projects, fishing, and gardening.

Members of his family include his children, Matthew Dolan of Dover and Jessica Dolan of Portsmouth; the mother of his children, Suzanne Dolan of Barrington; his two brothers, Patrick Dolan of Deerfield and David Dolan of Hamilton, Mass.; his two sisters, M. Jean LeBlanc and Eleanor Williams both of Danvers, Mass., and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
