ROCHESTER - Travis J. Stroud, 77, of Rochester Terrace (Acorn Terrace) died peacefully in his home on Sunday, May 28, 2017, surrounded by family and friends.
Travis, formally of Oklahoma, was stationed at Pease Air Force Base in 1957. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, Travis remained in the area working at Davidson Rubber / Textron for over 40 years.
Upon retirement Travis spent his time pursuing his passions of hunting, fishing, and generally being in the outdoors. The memories are filled with times spent with family, the holiday festivities, and barbeques inclusive of great friends and neighbors. Oh, and let's not forget the dogs he rescued that became members of the family.
Travis is survived by sons, daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren (with one great grandchild portrayed in the picture).
Travis and his contributions to many lives will be missed.
All services will be private.
