ROCHESTER -- Can't get to your favorite band's concert this summer? See the next best thing this weekend in Rochester during the first-ever Ultimate Tribute Band Music Fest at Tri-City Arena.

Sing along to top hits from Aerosmith, ABBA, Jason Aldean, Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks and U2 during the two-day event on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2. The music will begin at noon on both days and continue well into the night.

"These aren't your typical tribute bands," said Jude David, President and CEO of Fest Events. "These acts were specifically chosen for their unparalleled talents to sound, look and perform the part. They will leave you believing you're hearing the real thing!"

National and regional tribute acts set to perform Saturday include the ABBA Girlz, Ultimate Aldean and Draw the Line as Aerosmith. Kevin White's Tribute to Garth Brooks, Joshua Tree and Living on a Bad Name will play Sunday. Each band will play for at least two hours.

"Don't miss your opportunity to see the top tribute artists up close and personal as we re-introduce you to some of the most beloved and biggest musical legends of all time," David said.

Tickets cost $5, and VIP passes are available for $35. Overnight camping in tents and recreational vehicles is also available starting at $30 a night. Food, beer and wine will be sold inside the arena.

For those worried about inclement weather, Tri-City Arena has a covered grandstand with seating for 1,400 people.
