Trump takes narrow win in Maine student mock election

AUGUSTA, Maine - Maine youngsters picked Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton for president during a mock election Wednesday.
Trump's win was narrow, however, with 10,785 votes compared to to 10,077, Clinton.
Students from 155 schools voted for president, the state's two congressional races and Maine's six referendum questions.

President: Clinton: 10,077, Trump: 10,785, Johnson: 2,678, Stein: 1,260
U.S. House of Representatives District 1: Holbrook: 4,465, Pingree: 5,295
U.S. House of Representatives District 2: Poliquin: 5,971, Cain: 4,736
Referendum questions:
1. Legalize marijuana: Yes: 7,480, No: 8,268
2. Education tax: Yes: 8,703, No: 7,175
3. Firearm background checks: Yes: 9,463, No: 6,536
4. Minimum wage: Yes: 9,482, No: 6,015
5. Ranked choice voting: Yes: 8,618, No: 6,446
6. $10 million bond issue: Yes: 7,859, No: 6,875
