Two arrested, one on run in vicious Lafayette St. beatdown

ROCHESTER - Two Rochester men are under arrest and another is on the run in connection with an incident in which a 37-year-old man was beaten and left unconscious on Lafayette Street.

The victim, who suffered serious facial injuries, was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital after he was found Jan. 8 at 48 Lafayette Street where police had responded for a reported assault.

After a weeklong investigation Police arrested two suspects on Sunday: Chris Greenwood and Brett Tibbetts, both 20, were charged with riot and held at Strafford County Jail.

Greenwood is being held on $2,500 cash bail, while Tibbetts refused bail. Both will be arraigned Tuesday. Riot is a felony level charge.

A third suspect, Stephen Reagan Jr., 22, also of Rochester, is wanted on felony counts of receiving stolen property and forgery.
