Two found dead in fiery early morning crash in Dover

DOVER - Two people died early today when the car they were in crashed into a utility pole on Sixth Street and burst into flame.

The accident was called in by a Dover Police Officer who came upon the scene around 12:25 a.m. to find a BMW fully engulfed.

Dover Fire and Rescue responded along with Eversource utility crews, and the fire was eventually extinguished.

The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The crash occurred near the intersection of Longhill Road.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office also responded to assist. The intersection remains closed while crews continue repairs and detours are in place.
