EAST ROCHESTER - Two motorists were injured and a driver was cited for running a red light in a two-car crash at the intersection of Salmon Falls Road and Highland Street Thursday night.

The collision occurred a little after 8:30 p.m. when police say Colbi-Lynn Gallo, 17, of Rochester, was driving a Scion XA on Salmon Falls Road and entering the intersection when she crashed into the passenger side of an Audi A6, operated by Matthew Plourde, 40, also of Rochester.

Plourde and one passenger from Gallo's vehicle were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

From the on scene investigation Gallo was summonsed for traffic control devices, a violation-level offense.

The intersection was closed to traffic for a short period while the medical evaluations and investigation were conducted.

The case is still under investigation at this time. Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
