ROCHESTER - Two Rochester women have been arrested and two men remain at large in a pair of home invasions that occurred on consecutive nights last month.

The bizarre chain of events began May 21 around 4:45 a.m. as Rochester Police responded to the Sunset Village Motel on Milton Road for a report of an armed robbery which just occurred. Initial investigation revealed two masked males forced their way into the room with the two suspects pointing handguns at a male and female victim demanding drugs. The suspects finally left after obtaining money and a small amount of marijuana. The victims were not injured.

A K-9 track was completed, but the suspects were not located.

Then the following morning at 2:11 a.m. Rochester Police responded to 30 Front St. for a report of a male who was attacked and beaten with a baseball bat while inside his home.

Upon police arriving on scene they were able to learn the victim had been home when two males entered his residence one striking the victim in the head with a bat and the other pointing a handgun at him. The victim was able to escape from his residence and call 911 as the suspects fled. The victim was transported to Frisbie Memorial hospital for non-life threatening injuries by EMS.

As a result of the ongoing investigation detectives were able to connect both events and develop suspects. On Friday Rochester Police arrested Cori-Lyn Luther, 27 of 34 Chestnut St. She was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery (class A felony) and falsifying physical evidence (class B felony). Luther was held on $50,000 cash bail and is being held at Strafford County Jail awaiting her arraignment on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Strafford County Superior Court.

A second female suspect, Amber Glennon, 22, was arrested late Friday.

Rochester Police say they were following up on tips when they encountered a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle possibly involved in the robberies and assault. When an officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle by the Rochester Fairgrounds a male passenger believed to be Jacob Barrett-Carr, 23, immediately exited the vehicle and jumped over a fence, running into the fairgrounds. A perimeter was set up and a K9 track attempted, but Barrett-Carr was not located.

Meanwhile, Amber Glennon, 22, who was also in the vehicle, was taken into custody without incident. She is being charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and falsifying physical evidence (class B felony) and is also being held on $50,000 bail.

Barrett-Carr and Rian Luther, however, remain at large. Police are asking the public to use caution if they encounter them and contact police immediately.

Barrett-Carr, 23, of 84 Milton Road and Rian Luther, 22, of 34 Chestnut St, are both wanted on two counts of robbery, two counts of simple Assault, falsifying physical evidence and two counts of robbery.
