Two injured in T-bone crash on Old Dover Road

ROCHESTER - Two Lebanon residents were hurt today in a two-car collision on Old Dover Road.

The crash occurred around 11:35 a.m. when police say Evelyn Cormier, 90, of Rochester, was driving a Honda Accord south on Old Dover Road toward Dover. As she did a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck driven by Melisa Billings, 41, of Lebanon, Maine, was traveling on Tebbetts Road and stopped at the stop sign to cross Old Dover Road. When Billings entered the intersection she pulled in front of the Honda, which resulted in a T-bone type accident.

Both Billings and her passenger, Kyle Billings, 20, of Lebanon, were transported by Frisbie EMS to Frisbie Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Both vehicles suffered damage and were towed from the scene.

Melissa Billings was issued a citation for a vehicle entering a stop or yield intersection.
