ROCHESTER - Rochester School officials announced on Monday they had learned of two more positive COVID cases at the East Rochester and Rochester Middle schools.
According to a press release, the individuals that tested positive for the coronavirus are self-isolating in accordance with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protocols. The individuals will be able to return to school in about 10 days as long as they have been cleared by DHHS to do so. Under state and federal privacy laws, no further information is available about the individuals.
As a result, one third grade class will participate in remote learning until Feb. 11 and one eighth grade team will participate in fully remote learning until Monday. All impacted individuals have been contacted and families have been given instructions for remote learning.
