Two Somersworth residents among trio charged in Maine bogus bills case

OGUNQUIT, Maine - Two Somersworth residents were among three arrested for allegedly passing counterfeit money in this coastal town.

Ogunquit Police made the arrests on Monday.

Kendra LeBlanc and William Sylvia, both of Somersworth, N.H., and Nicole Ashline, of Manchester, N.H., were all charged with aggravated forgery. Sylvia was also charged with drugs possession.

Police say the three were manufacturing and passing the bogus bills, in denominations of from $1-$100, throughout Ogunquit.

All three remained jailed on Thursday on high bail.

Anyone who thinks they may have recently received a counterfeit bill or have any information is asked to contact Ogunquit Police ‪at 207-646-9362.
