ROCHESTER - The Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group is visiting the Rochester Public Library on Tuesday to host a beginner ukulele workshop. The workshop runs from 6-7:30 p.m.

The program is for everyone whether they have ukulele playing experience or not.

The SNHUG's primary purpose is to provide a forum for area "ukesters" of all levels to share and play songs, learn techniques and form friendships while learning more about everyone's favorite instrument.

The secondary function is one of community service. The currently support The Ukulele Kid's Club, a 501c3 charity providing instruments and music therapy to children nationwide. Also on an all-volunteer, nonprofit basis, the group will be available for area fund-raisers and community events.
