Needless to say musicians have had a lot of downtime these days. I was speaking recently with Mike Lemons, frontman for the band Unknown, about what has been keeping him busy.

Not only has he been working with his band recording and working on new music, he has started raising money and awareness for a foundation "I AM ME" inc. to help children with social anxiety.

"With the stress that has been placed on our children, we need solutions," he told "Out and About". "Some kids out there can't afford the treatment and therapy they need."

Unknown has written a song about this called "I AM ME".

"I will be ensuring that any and all profits gained will be donated to this cause," Lemons said. "Our goal is to assist kids financially and spiritually to get through this large barrier placed before us. My goal is to be up and running fully by the end of March, as a non profit organization. So far, the support has been amazing. I truly appreciate everything my friends and family have done in support of my dream for our youth."

Lemons is also quite an artist. A design inspired by "I AM ME" and painted on a skateboard is on display at the Conway library and raising funds for yet another initiative for kids, a skateboard park, which is another project that his band has supported since they formed.
