UPDATE: Stolen Jeep found later in Gonic; suspect still at large

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police have recovered the Jeep stolen Saturday morning.

Police say the white 1994 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from a Washington Street driveway near North Main around 11:40 a.m.

It was found in Gonic a few hours later. The recovery was possible thanks to a young citizen who saw the social media post and told her mother who called the police. The suspect is still at large, and this case is still an active investigation.

The suspect is described as a white male, tall, and in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a red tank top.

Police are asking that anyone who may have information regarding this stolen Jeep to contact Rochester Police at 603-330-7128. If you see it, do not approach the vehicle; but immediately call 911 or 603-330-7128.
