LEBANON - A Lebanon mobile home was severely damaged during a fire on Tuesday.

The blaze at 315 River Road broke out around 3:50 p.m. and drew mutual aid from Milton, Rochester and Alfred, Maine.

Upon arrival crews found a mobile home with heavy smoke coming from the eves of the home and fire within the kitchen area.

According to a press release from Lebanon Fire and EMS, all of the residents were able to get out of the home and escape the blaze, though one of the occupants was transported to Wentworth Douglass Hospital for observation by Frisbie Paramedics.

The fire was knocked down quickly with extensive overhaul and once under control mutual aid companies were released from the scene, while Lebanon crews remained for a half hour checking for hot spots.

It is expected the state Fire Marshall's Office will investigate the cause of the blaze, but no one from that officer was available for comment on Wednesday.

Milton crews stayed busy after the fire as they were summoned to mutual aid in Wakefield on a medical call shortly after their return to the downtown stationhouse.
