ALFRED, Maine - A West Lebanon man has been indicted in a domestic violence assault case that occurred in September.

Zachary Tuttle, 26, of 148 Sam Wentworth Road, was formerly charged by a York County grand jury with domestic violence assault, assault and criminal mischief in connection with a Sept. 26 incident in Lebanon.

The two assault charges are Class C felonies punishable by five years in prison each; the criminal mischief charge is a misdemeanor which can mean up to a year in county jail.

The York County grand jury indictments were handed down last week.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
