ROCHESTER - Wanda L. Vadeboncoeur, 82, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Dover Rehabilitation Center in Dover, N.H. after a period of declining health.
She was born January 8, 1933 in Epping, N.H., daughter of Leon Earl Collins Sr. and Josephine Louise Bell (Hutchins) Collins.
Wanda was one of nine children and was raised in Kingston, N.H. On November 25, 1955, she married William H. Vadeboncoeur Jr. and they resided many years between Kingston and Exeter while raising their 3 children. Wanda worked in several local area businesses including the Rockingham County Nursing Home and Gemini Valve. She and Bill have been residents of Rochester, N.H. for the past 19 years.
Wanda was a member of the Emmanuel Advent Christian Church in Rochester.
She loved spending time with her family and having family get togethers. Her hobbies included watching cooking shows, daily grocery shopping, and taking day or weekend trips with her husband.
Wanda was predeceased by her siblings, Velma Dalton, Nova Adams, Leon Collins Jr., Vernon Collins and Merville Collins.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" H. Vadeboncoeur Jr. of Rochester, N.H., daughter and son-in-law, Ardis and Michael Bosse of Lebanon, Maine, son, William H. Vadeboncoeur III of Merrimac, Mass., and daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Greg Armstrong of Rochester, N.H., 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, siblings, Vivian Cole of Raymond, N.H., Larry Collins of Bulls Gap, Tenn., Quinton Collins of Bean Station, Tenn. and numerous nieces and nephews.
