ROCHESTER - Waneta A Grenier, 85, formerly of Tampa Drive, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at the Birch Hill Rehab and Living facility.

Born September 22, 1936, in Rochester to Lincoln and Florence (Pippin) Lyons.

Waneta grew up in Rochester and was a graduate of Spaulding High School. She worked at many shoe manufacturing companies in the local area and then worked several part-time jobs before retiring at the age of 80. She was a loving grandmother to her two grandchildren. She rarely missed any of there sporting events and kept great scrapbooks. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, and going for long walks. Waneta was a very active independent person. She had many friends and will be missed dearly.

Members of her family include her son, Rene Grenier Jr and his wife Janice of Strafford, her brothers, Lincoln Jr, and James Lyons, a sister, Loretta Flynn, her grandchildren Kevin and Bret Grenier his wife Nora and great granddaughter Ada. Several nieces and nephews, she is predeceased by her brothers, Donald, and Victor Lyons.
