YORK, Maine - Kaylee McAtavey of Lebanon hooked this 32.5" striped bass on Friday while trolling the York River off Route 91.

The striper measured in at 32½ inches. It was landed using a tube and sand worm, said her dad, Keith.

It was her first time trolling for stripers, he said.

"The fish wasn't the only one that got hooked this weekend," Keith McAtavey quipped today. "She is ready to get back out on the water as soon as she can."

The proud dad said the striper will be going on the grill sometime over the weekend.
