ROCHESTER - Rochester Public Library is looking to up its game.

Library Director Marie Lejeune has announce that the Rochester Public Library has received grant funding to assist with a survey to better identify the needs of the community.

"The purpose of the grant is to help us identify ways we can better serve our communities," said Lejeune. "There is a survey on our website that people can take to tell us what they would like from their public library."

According to Lejeune, the funding is thanks to American Rescue Plan Act funds and made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the New Hampshire State Library.

"Libraries in Dover, Durham, Newmarket, and Rollinsford received grant support as well," Lejeune added. "TRUE Marketing will compile survey results and develop unique plans for each library in response to the needs identified."

The Library is encouraging regular patrons and Rochester residents to participate in the survey. To take it go to https://www.rpl.lib.nh.us/
