ROCHESTER - A woman was seriously injured on Friday when the vehicle she was driving crashed near the railroad trestle on Haven Hill Road.

When police arrived at the scene they found a GMC pickup truck operated by Kimberly Verschoor had overturned in the roadway.

Verschoor, no age or address given, was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for what were described as serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Verschoor was charged with felony-level DUI due to the level of injury. A DUI with serious bodily injury, even to oneself, is a felony, police said. Verschoor was released on personal recognizance bail.
