MANCHESTER - A Manchester woman was arrested on multiple charges Saturday after leading police on an early morning high-speed chase on Interstate 93.

State troopers got involved around 1:36 a.m. as they attempted to locate a vehicle that was involved in a brief pursuit with the Manchester Police Department earlier in the evening. The operator then continued to travel at a slow rate of speed while riding on its rims and exited the interstate in Concord, where Concord Police were able to deploying spike strips and the pursuit came to end on Gas Street.

The operator, Laurie Rebecca Keith, 39, of Manchester, was taken into custody without incident and charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying a police officer, aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, negligent driving, traffic control device violation, solid line violation, lane control violation and failure to use required turn signals.

Keith refused bail and is scheduled to appear at the Hillsborough North Superior Court on Tuesday.
